United States Reductions in Foreign Oil
In Billions of Barrel

The graph show the reduction in foreign oil from 2009 thought 2020 from using hydrogen and electric vehicles would be 8.5 million barrels per day.

According to the U. S. Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration, the total crude oil imports averaged 10.0 million barrels per day in October, which is an increase of 1.604 million barrels per day from September 2008.
